Do you want someone special in your life?

Do you wonder where you can meet other singles about your own age? -  with lifestyles and values like your own? - as comfortable to be with as the gal or guy next door?

Do you prefer the quality and pace of life that life in the suburbs offers compared to life in the city?

Do you live or work at least 30 minutes away from a large city like NYC or  Boston? Are you tired of wasting time and transportation going to bars, mixers, or parties in large, distant cities because all too often even when you do meet someone there they live too far away?

Do you prefer to meet others face-to-face and trust your own instincts rather than put faith in expensive third parties like dating services or  professional matchmakers,  phony personals ads or internet matchmaking and dating sites?

If you checked two or more of the above, you owe it to yourself to learn about an amazing social option that in addition to addressing all these concerns, is surprisingly simple, fun and effective. In only a few short hours, you'll be entertained as well as make and qualify more social contacts than by traditional introduction methods. Best of all, you make the choices. We call it Suburban Speed Dating and just maybe it's right for you!

At A Match Made in 7 we appreciate that living in the suburbs offers a quality of life that should and can extend to your social life. That's why we offer exciting in-person evening events for singles 25 and older featuring a special type of speed networking or round robin dating (sometimes referred to as speed dating°).  Our events take place away from big cities like Boston & New York.  We bring them to the suburbs where you and other singles like you live and /or work.  Because the majority of people are most comfortable and make the most matches with their peers, we run events for distinct age groups. (Please see schedules.)

Whether you call it five, seven, or eight minute dating, there's a reason why the concept of what's come to be commonly known as "speed dating" is still going strong. Even though it's been around for more than 15 years, it's still a great, non-threatening way for singles to meet face-to-face. So, if your well meaning friends and relatives have run out of nice eligible singles to introduce you to, maybe it's time that you reclaim your social life. Speed dating delivers a lot of dating in a little time! Best of all, you make the choices. Make the most of your time, energy and gas. And, remember, there is never any membership fee or commitment beyond the specific event you wish to attend.

Our A Match Made in 7 Speed Dating and Inning Dates events feature the following:

  • social introductions made in person, face-to-face

  • balanced participation (i.e. equal numbers of gals to guys, everyone plays every round)

  • a structured program¹ of 7 or more brief matchmaking rounds

  • open (non-structured) social time to additionally network

  • safe, low-key & wholesome settings (easily located with parking nearby)

  • personal preference & privacy regarding follow-up evaluations

  • opportunity to network within peer age group

  • flexibility to identify varied contacts (romantic as well as social, sport, professional, etc.)

  • privacy policy to protect personal contact information²

What sets A Match Made in 7 speed dating events apart from the competition?

We run only balanced events. You'd be amazed how often we're asked by those who've attended other speed networking events, whether they can expect a sizable imbalance in the ratio of gals to guys at our events.  In a word - NO! Please see our last FAQ for a complete explanation. We will not knowingly run an event where there aren't enough registrations of both sexes to allow for everyone to have someone with whom to match every round.

Another very important way in which A Match Made in 7 and Inning Dates  differ from all the national "brand" name speed dating sponsors is that we run our own events. We do not franchise our events. Nor do we hire third parties to run our events. If you come to our events, you will  see us running them ourselves because we want to ensure that we produce consistently high quality events - regardless of where or when they are held.

We are proud to be independently owned and operated and prefer to remain as such. We call New England home just like you and because we know the region, we believe that we alone can best meet the needs of our suburban New England singles audience.

Of course, there is a flip side to this. Because we are on the road producing these events ourselves, the logistics of our operation make it impractical to offer real time telephone support. We run a website instead of a storefront and all communication regarding our events is channeled through our website. So, if you cannot find the answer to your question among our FAQ's, T's & C's or Inning Dates pages, please email us here and state your question after the colon in the subject line. Please allow 48 hours for a response. Thanks for your cooperation.

¹With each rotation you have 7 minutes to talk and see if there's something between the two of you worth following up on. Then you privately "score" the meeting as a "match" or not. After the event, scorecards are turned in. Within two days,  we follow-up via email with basic contact info (email and/or phone number, whichever you select) for those pairings which both of you scored as a "match."

²No one is allowed to request or reveal certain information including last names, home and work addresses (no business cards), phone numbers, etc. And, there can be no solicitations of any kind - personal or professional.
