A Match Made in 7 is proud to be the FIRST to bring you a unique and brand new way to network with other singles - speed dating events held at minor league baseball games throughout New England*! What could be better than to spend a nice summer night out under the stars with 25 to 50 of your newest friends?

Yes, it's spring at last! As we all know, in the spring a man's fancy turns to love and baseball. So, we thought, why not combine the two? Maybe you've heard about NESN's new reality show Sox Appeal directed at single Red Sox fans. 'Sorry, NESN. You're a little late. A Match Made in 7 has offered its product for months to singles baseball fans and non-fans alike. In our version, everyone who wants to can participate (just sign up & pay); there are no losers; no one suffers public humiliation; and everyone gets to participate all nine innings. Oh yeah, one last thing - you don't have to head to Beantown (aka Boston) to participate. Our events take place in just about every minor league park in New England. So chances are good that we offer an event nearby to where you live or work.

These events combine our speed networking format with the structure of baseball games to produce a unique type of singles event that is part entertainment, part recreation, part adventure and pure fun!!! If you're looking for a dynamic new way to meet other singles your own age in a safe, fun and relaxed atmosphere, then, this is THE event for you! Match rounds for these week night events are expanded from our regular 7 minute format to a full inning. However, because no one knows exactly how long an inning will last, that adds to the excitement and challenge. You'll probably find having the game setting a great conversation starter. But you’ll need to be vigilant about making the most of each networking opportunity or an inning (and an opportunity) may slip away before you know it.

Never been to a minor league baseball game? Then, you're in for a real treat. These games can deliver some serious action as major league wannabe’s strut their stuff. Minor league stadiums provide the advantage of intimate settings with virtually no bad seats. Plus they boast all the trappings of major league baseball including a wide array of food concession and souvenir items. Parking is nearby to each park and reasonably priced.

As with all our events, to attend you must register through this website and make immediate payment either online through PayPal's secure site or with a check or money order via US mail. At our barebones price of only $27.95 per person (with nine match rounds), these events offer the best value in speed dating. Our gift certificates, are fully redeemable toward your admission purchase.

Your paid registration entitles you to participate in one speed dating event and includes the following:

9 speed dating rounds (one per inning)
additional networking during open social time (prior to the start of event & during seventh inning stretch break)
scorecard for match rounds
follow-up contact info to match rounds
ice breaker activities
team schedule card
additional promotional material and opportunities vary by team

In order for us to keep the cost of these events to a minimum, individual attendees are responsible for all their own expenses associated with the following:

admission to the game
parking
food and beverages

Please note that in order to enter the event, you must purchase one general admission ticket from whichever team hosts the event you attend. (FYI, unreserved seats cost only between $5 and $8 depending upon the ballpark.) Even though these are unreserved seats, we have special arrangements with each team to accommodate our group so that we sit together. A few days before the scheduled event, we will email paid registrants details about the event which will instruct them further.

Dress is business casual. No blue jeans, please! Please remember that one must be an adult to attend our events. Although you'll find the minor league baseball venue "family friendly," children are not allowed at our events. If you wish to include them in a baseball outing, we encourage you to make arrangements for another occasion at any of the ballparks with which we work. Please remember that these events are seasonal, seating limited and due to their "matching" nature do NOT allow walk-ins. We anticipate that these events will SELL OUT well in advance. In order to avoid being turned away, be sure to register and pay ASAP. (If you don't pay, you can't play!) Registration closes about one week prior to event date. After that please watch our schedule. In the event that we have more of one sex registered, we may keep registrations open for the opposite sex. And, in some instances, we may offer a waitlist option.
