Privacy PolicyThe nature of information which we gather from you is relative to the services which we deliver to you as a participant of A Match Made in 7 Suburban Speed Dating event. We respect your privacy and strive to provide a safe environment for our online and event guests. Because we are NOT a matchmaking or dating service, online introduction or online matching service, nor do we rely on memberships to participate in our events, we do NOT ask for nor maintain participant profiles of a personal nature like many of those businesses do. The information requested on registration forms is limited to that which we need in order to enable you to participate in an event. The follow-up information which is shared with attendees after an event is limited to that which is necessary for yourself and other parties that you have specified to connect with each other after the event. That information is limited to a first name, phone number and / or email address, nature of interest (social, sport, professional, etc.) and the participant number assigned by A Match Made in 7. We rely upon GoogleCheckout to securely process our credit card transactions. That means that Google Checkout controls and secures that process as well as all information relative to your credit card transaction with them. We are simply informed by Google when they approve your transaction with them on our behalf. We have no access to your credit card data itself. Also, remember, the nature of our business is that individuals register and pay for each event that they choose to attend. Again, we are not a recurring online dating service with monthly fees or private club with membership dues. We do not bill you. Upon arrival, participants must present a photo ID which includes their date of birth. Although we record the type of ID (ex. drivers license), we do NOT record its specific number. That protects those of you with a drivers license number that is also your social security number. We do not collect nor retain that data. To the extent that you agree, we may email you or those whom you've requested us to about our upcoming events. We do not sell nor share our client lists except as necessary with third parties with whom we may from time-to-time jointly sponsor or promote events. Although links may appear on our website, that is not necessarily an endorsement by A Match Made in 7 for the goods or services which those organizations offer. |
