At A Match Made in 7 and Inning Dates we try to be more proactive than reactive. We don’t just make provisions for those who don’t get any matches when they attend one of our events. We also help the matchmaking by expanding the pie. By recognizing that people relate to others on many levels and offering them the opportunity to see that as well, we actually help increase their chances of matching.

For example, suppose two people discover in their match round that they have a common interest or passion – say, for kayaking. At our events, we offer them the opportunity to indicate that to us on their scorecard. Even if at their initial meeting neither sees any sparks of another sort, they have at least opened the door to a friendship and perhaps, eventually something beyond that. Sometimes romance is a journey.
